I trust that we have all realized just how important it is to stay home. And if you’ve been staying home, you may be running out of ideas to keep you busy and entertained.
I know that it’s important to get outside, exercise, and reduce the amount of time you spend staring at a screen.
But you still need to unwind and relax at some point, and if you’re like me, that means flopping on the couch and turning your TV to Netflix, Crave, or Amazon Prime Video.
The only downfall to this relaxation method is the dreaded task of finding something to watch. Now, this might not be an issue if you already have “Your Show”, but we’re living in extraordinary times.
So, unless you just started watching, it has 10+ seasons, or you’re one of those people who is re-watching Friends or The Office for the umpteenth time, chances are you will need a “New Show”.
So, to help you out (beyond your insurance needs) I will be creating a weekly watch list and sharing it with you every Wednesday. I can’t promise that you will enjoy my recommendations, but if I can help you choose (or not choose) a show and end your tiresome scrolling, even for one night, that’s a success in my books.
But don’t worry, if you think that I have a terrible taste in movies and TV shows, I will be including a recommendation from one of my co-workers. So hopefully we can find you your New Show or Next Movie!
With it being April Fools today, I thought it would be fitting that I recommend some of my favourite comedies that I’ve recently watched! (I don’t recommend watching any of the following movies or TV shows with children, just a heads up!)
NETFLIX
Movie – The Last Laugh
TV Show – Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (6 seasons/collections)
CRAVE
Movie – The Hustle
TV Show – Silicon Valley (6 seasons)
AMAZON PRIME VIDEO
Movie – Booksmart
TV Show – The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (3 seasons)
CO-WORKER OF THE WEEK IS… JOSH!
His recommendations, keeping with the comedy theme, are;
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Netflix, TV Show, 6 seasons)
The Good Place (Netflix, TV Show, 3 seasons)
Now enjoy and stay safe!
P.S. I could use some recommendations myself, so please comment them below!
